Linda, it’s funny you should say “the rest of the story” as I could actually hear Paul Harvey’s voice in my head as I wrote this post.

We did the tree for many years.  I’ll guess 5 - 7.  Then when we moved to a place with 10’ ceilings we went more traditional.  I guess even a “fresh” idea can get old.  Besides, there are very few 10’ ballerinas.

The crazy thing is, we don't have a particularly good photo of the tree (this being before cheap digital cameras), so I consciously left out a picture in the post.  I actually thought the photo of Audrey dancing was more provocative, and causing readers to use their imaginations was more fun.

...and now you know the &lt;em&gt;r-e-s-t&lt;/em&gt; of the story.</description>
