Cathy's roles at Before & After are many and varied. When a probing, analytical mind is needed to delve into a marketing challenge to find opportunities for big thinking, Cathy is second to none. Her boundless energy and curiosity have helped Before & After clients in fields as diverse as telecommunications, beverage and the airline sector.

Cathy worked in advertising in New York on the McDonald's and Coca-Cola brands before moving to the client marketing and advertising side where Cathy and B&A founder Tom Monahan met, as a client of Tom's ad agency, Leonard/Monahan. Cathy later joined Leonard/Monahan as a senior account person.

At L/M Cathy oversaw such accounts as Keds, Lotus software, American Tourister luggage and Gerber Nursing products and was promoted to head of account service.

For the past decade, Cathy has provided private marketing consultation for such companies as Delta Airlines, Estee Lauder, Swatch watches, Bay Networks (now Northern Telecom), Swarovski Crystal, Weebok apparel and footwear, and Tommy Hilfiger.

At Before & After, Cathy brings keen marketing analysis to the pre- and post phases of our creative ideation work, when necessary. Along with Tom Monahan, Cathy has developed a unique program for the strategic/creative brief area of advertising called The Point. Plus Cathy conducts a unique form of consumer focus group/brainstorming session - the reFocus Group - that has consumers inventing exciting new products and services for our client companies.
