Before & After, Inc. is totally dedicated to helping people think creatively. Since 1992 we’ve work with companies, professional groups and individuals who want to significantly increase their overall creative thinking capabilities, or simply looking to grease their minds as they attack a challenge or opportunity that requires big, original thinking.
Founder Tom Monahan and his team of licensed creative thinking coaches, all personally trained by Tom, have helped over 250,000 people on four continents improve their creative thinking abilitites.
Tom has written a book for business people entitled The Do-it-yourself Lobotomy: Open your mind to greater creative thinking.
Before & After has worked for hundreds of companies and professional organizations in dozens, if not hundreds of business categories; from packaged goods, financial services and airlines, to network television, technology and pharmaceuticals. Although every client’s needs are unique, and we usually custom-tailor programs to a company’s specific needs, a good many of our programs are built around our two primary competencies represented by our two core services; training and facilitated ideation (elaborated below). Virtually all of our services are propritary and have been designed by Before & After founder, Tom Monahan.
The engine of most of our work is our highly acclaimed creative thinking workshop, The Do-it-Yourself Lobotomy. This high-energy, skills-building professional development program runs anywhere from one to six hours. The shorter version is ideal to kick off meetings, or as a prelude to other B&A sessions. Our FlashFlood Brainstorming is a high-output, proven ideation method which will bring fresh, big thinking to major challenges or opportunities that you may be facing. We’ve had great success in areas such as new product development, positioning, naming and promotion — generating hundreds, often thousands of fresh ideas in as little as half a day. (more)
